Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The influential game designer died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts said.
