The network's Premier New Show of 2025 Earns a Significant Extension for an Additional Two Seasons.
Last October, Adult Swim debuted a new season of its offbeat hit, Smiling Friends. However, shortly thereafter, the channel introduced a brand-new animated series with a strikingly different tone. On December 18th, the network confirmed a big renewal: Haha, You Clowns has been renewed for two more seasons. This provides creator Joe Cappa ample opportunity to develop the world of the Campbell family. The show follows three polite teenage brothers whose primary trait is their profound affection for their single father, with Cappa portraying for all four central characters.
"I am incredibly thankful to the audience of the show who took a chance on the show and shared it with others," remarked Cappa. "It's thrilling that I get to spend more time in the Campbell household for a little longer."

The official statement also included commendation from Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen, who described the series as "profoundly sincere and oddly captivating." He specifically highlighted the fans who found the show and championed its peculiarly charming sensibility.
"All of you got behind this new show, praised it on social media, and helped it grow week over week so we could approve not one, but two more seasons," said Ouweleen. "As the show says: 'You are strong! You are loved!'"

“It feels like there's a default mode of irony that we can't get ourselves out of,” said Cappa. “It feels as if we have to know we’re the cleverest viewer in the room when we're watching stuff. I feel like we've been doing this for too long, and we must laugh at something different now. It's time for comedy to grow.”
